What we do

The three fields of action of YES are:

:: providing student grants: since its foundation, YES has dispensed around 1,200 grants to students in 41 different countries in the developing world.

:: setting up new education and training centres and supporting existing education and training centres. The main projects are:

CEFE Brazil: focused on education and training of high school students
CEFE Mexico: engaged in activities aimed at the educational, cultural and social development of the young
Day Care Centre Uganda: dedicated to the care and education of young children
Supporting existing centres: specifically in Latin America – in Santa Fe (Argentina), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Santiago (Chile), Itaguá (Paraguay) and Santa Catarina (Paraguay)

:: organizing an Italy – Latin America network: the goal of the initiative is to assist in a number of ways Latin American undergraduate or postgraduate students in economic difficulties, to enable them to complete their studies.
